We’re looking for a Founding Business Development Representative to join our New York office and play a pivotal role in growing Flint’s presence in schools worldwide.

Job Description

Founding Business Development Representative (BDR)

As Flint’s Founding Business Development Representative, you'll play a critical role in developing and refining our outbound sales process. You’ll be responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities, and driving early-stage conversations.

What you’ll do:

  • Prospect and research schools that fit Flint’s Ideal Customer Profile.

  • Engage with decision-makers via email, cold calls, and LinkedIn.

  • Qualify leads by understanding prospects' needs, pain points, and opportunities

  • Book meetings and build pipeline

  • Track and manage activity in HubSpot

  • Provide feedback to refine Flint’s outbound sales strategy

This role will give you the chance to directly shape and refine Flint’s outbound sales approach, making this a huge opportunity for growth and impact as we scale.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales/lead generation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent listening skills and energetic phone presence

  • A self-starter with a high sense of urgency and ability to work within undefined processes.

  • No academic qualifications or minimum number of years of experience required.

Preferred

  • B2B software sales experience.

  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Apollo, or similar B2B tools.

  • Previous experience in EdTech.
